Storyboard Text

  • Citizens of California beware there are low pressures and high winds that could create hurricanes. Be safe!
  • Mom I'm really scared!!
  • It's OK, it isn't a hurricane yet we just have to start following some safety procedures
  • I see
  • We probably won't be going outside and it is best to stay inside but, in case you are outside there are signs that will tell you where to evacuate
  • Hurricane Evacuation Zone
  • What do we do now?
  • Omg! Really, than we should go home now. Stay safe.
  • Have you heard that all the high winds turned into a hurricane and should arrive in an hour
  • Mom how are hurricanes even made?
  •  Well the hot water in the ocean gives energy for high winds to form and those high winds help evaporate more water and the winds get faster and faster. Once it reaches wind speeds of 74mph it is considered a hurricane. Come on we should hurry back home.
  • It is an emergency hurricane kit. It contains first aid kit, water, flashlights, radio, and some other things. Most people living here have it as California often has hurricanes. The hot places usually get hurricanes the most
  •  What is that box for?
