Storyboard Text

  • what are you doing?
  • I am giving the tree water
  • Why
  • Because it has been a few days sinse we have had water and the plants need water to go through photosenthisis
  • How does photosynthesis work?
  • Photosynthesis is the process by which plants, some bacteria, and some protistans use the energy from sunlight to produce sugar, which cellular respiration converts into ATP, the "fuel" used by all living things.
  • During photosynthesis: Light energy is absorbed by chlorophyll, a green substance found in chloroplasts in some plant cells and algae. Absorbed light energy is used to convert carbon dioxide (from the air) and water (from the soil) into a sugar called glucose. Oxygen is released as a by-product.

  • How does it work
  • Photosynthesis is the process through which plants convert light energy into chemical energy. Here is the chemical reaction involved: As we can see, water and carbon dioxide combine to form glucose and oxygen. Since new chemical species are formed, photosynthesis is clearly a chemical change.
  • Is photosynthesis a chemical reaction?
  • Hey i got to go home but thanks for the information
  • Ok see yah later
