This storyboard does not have a description.
"Humph!... as he gave [the skull] a kick to shake the dirt from it" (260). This explains the tone because Tom is portrayed as frustrated, or annoyed.
Black, copper, swarthy, dingy, begrimed with soot
"On the bark of the tree was scored the name of Deacon Peabody, an eminent man, who had waxed wealthy by driving shred bargains with the indians" (261).
"I am the great patron and prompter of slave dealers, and the grandmaster of the salem witches" (261).
"...and he had lived so long with a termagant wife, that he did not even fear the devil" (262).
The theme of the story is similar to the theme of "The Crucible" because Tom Walker is very similar to John Proctor. Tom Walker only values money and when his wide dies, only goes looking for the treasures. This is similar to John Proctor because John Proctor values his reputation and values what people think of him rather than his families well being.
