Storyboard Text

  • Conflict
  • Do I tell dad? Do i stay in the loop? should I keep seeing Dr. Golan?
  • Exposition
  • "Go to the island, Yacob. Here it's not safe. Find the bird in the loop. Emerson- the letter, Tell them what happened."
  • Rising Action
  • The main conflict is that when Jacobs grandfather died, he hadn't shared many of his most important secrets that were relevant to keeping Jacob alive. When Jacob travels t the island in search of answers, trouble takes over his life.
  • Climax
  • "They only become visible to the rest of us when they’re eating, Miss Peregrine had told me, which is to say, when it’s too late."
  • Jacobs working at Smart- Aid and gets a call from his grandpa about the "monsters" coming to get him. he goes to his grandpas house and finds him almost dead in the backyard.  His grandpa mentions something about a letter and the monsters, and he peacefully   goes.
  • Falling Action
  • Jacob seeks answers about what his grandfather was trying to tell him by visiting Miss Peregrine's  home for peculiar children. He meets all of the children, and finds out that he  is a peculiar himself; he can see wights and hollows. Someone named Martin comes into the town and mysteriously disappears.
  • Resolution
  • Jacob and a few of the peculiars  go out to find the truth about the recent killings, and disobey  Miss Peregrine's rules, and go into the village. During their journey,  the kids realize that they are under attack of a wight and they kill it, before it kills  them.
  • Dr, Golan (Jacobs psychiatrist) who is a wight, throws Miss Peregrine (in her bird form in a cage) over the railing of the lighthouse into the ocean.  Emma, who has a peculiar talent of forming fire in her hands, tried to burn Dr, Golan. But, it doesn't work because he attacked her. Jacob shoota Dr. Golan and kills him. Emma and Jacob save Miss Peregrine.
  • Jacob chooses to stay and live in the loop with Miss Peregrine and Emma, instead of going back to his family. Me made this decision because he doesn't want to live the rest of his life in fear that the monsters will get him and attack him like his grandpa.
  • "you can be living your dreams and your nightmares at the very same time."
