On the morning of November 8th, a small protest thrown by Greek anarchists just outside the U.S. Consulate in Thessaloniki, Greece led police to arrest 6 of the protestors
The group of 15 anarchists began protesting about the upcoming visit of President Barack Obama, and scattered leaflets all over the premises in hopes of spreading the word to cause mass riots upon President Obama's arrival
The situation then escalated quickly when some of the protesters tried to force their way into the U.S. Consulate, which eventually led to the 6 arrests being made when they were stopped by a security guard
Anarchists have called for mass rioting on November 15th, the date in which President Obama will be visiting Athens, Greece
President Obama's visit to Greece will mark the first time a U.S. president has visited the country in 17 years, the last time being President Bill Clinton's visit to Greece, in which he was welcomed by heavy rioting
The military dictatorship that governed Greece for 7 years (1967-74) that received American support has many people in the country regarding the United States in doubt.
