Storyboard Text

  • Have you ever looked into the sky, and wondered why the stars are there and how they got there? Well continue reading and you will learn just that.
  • ????
  • Hi I am Nebula. I am just a baby.
  • First the star starts off as a nebula (a giant cloud of dust and gas).
  • Next, the Nebula hydrogen is put together by gravity, and starts spinning. Then the  Nebula turns into a Protostar.
  • I am a protostar and I have getting lots of energy!!
  • After the protostar has reached 15,000,000 degrees, nuclear reactions happen and the star starts to release energy causing it to shine. This is acalled a "Main Sequence Star"
  • I am Main Sequence Star! I fuse hydrogen atoms to form helium atoms in my core
  • The helium in the Main Sequence Star then turns to carbon and starts to expand, cool and becomes less bright. It is then called Red Dwarf Star.
  • I am a Red Dwarf Star! I am cooler, bigger and less bright than a Main Sequence Star
  • The Red Dwarf Star's outer layer then turns into a gas-like substance and starts to drift away, this is called the Planetary Nebula. This happens because the helium core runs out, and the gas then surrounds the core.
  • I am the core!
  • Our name is Planetary Nebula
