Voting Rights Act of 1965
In 1920, Congress ratified the 19th amendment to the United States constitution. This Amendment gave women the right to vote.
Brooke breaks color line (1966)
The civil rights act outlaws discriminated on base of race,Color,Religion,Sex and national origin from all public place. It also ended segregation of schools and made employment discrimination illegal
Loving v.Virginia (1967)
Prohibits the denial or restriction to the right to vote.
