I better be getting home. Poor Mary has so much work on her hands. Especially since the boys came home.
Ever since they arrived home a couple years ago, Mary has been taking care of Father, the house, and her depressed kids.
The kids are so shooken from the war. They saw too many things that no man should ever see.
Poor Frank got his arm amputated, too.
At least the war didn't affect us here. New York wasn't even touched!
Our sales at the factory are a lot smaller, though. Guns aren't in as high demand as they were during the war.
I think everyone still needs to wind down from the effects of the war. We all need to rest because that war was exhausting, both mentally and physically.
We got a large sum of money during the war constantly selling guns, though. At least that's one way the war was helpful.
