  • My son,should thy heart fix the law, in all thing obey thy fathers will
  • If thou art a woman; indeed, my care is for thee Nay, I see thee offending against justice
  • This, boy it seems,is the womans champion Shameless a open feud with thy father
  • O dasterd nature,yielding place to woman Thou canst never marry her, on this side of the grave
  • Thou wilt never find me yeild to baseness Then she must die, and in death destroy another
  • Haemon is begging his father Creon to allow him to marry Antigone, but Creon says to follow orders.
  • Creon responds by saying all the ladies want him, choose another, and he shouldn't be fighting against him,but Haemon believes it is the right thing to do.
  • Creon says that his son yields to women and that he will never be allowed to marry Antigone alive,so Haemon says that she will just die and he will die with her.
