Hello, today I will be talking to you about Immigration.
Although I'm part Aboriginal, I'm also a part Irish. That is what I will be talking about today.
My grandfather Immigrated from Ireland in the 1950's. Although he liked Ireland, he had friends moving to Canada as well, and decided it was time to go to Canada, as well.
Hey, I just got my ticket on the next boat to Canada!
Well, I guess I'll go with you.
he trip was quite easy for him, especially after what was happening in Ireland. He had no job openings, and he had almost no financial stability there. He wanted a new start.
His first job in Canada was delivering milk in a horse and buggy. Coming from Ireland, people thought he knew how to ride a horse. It turned out he didn't.
Once in Canada, he met his wife, and had my mother, Sandra, and lived in Toronto. He started off at the east coast, and worked his way in.
