hi bobby, we are stuck on the shore, and we need a division of labor to survive on this island.
Comparitive advantage comic strip
ok sounds good! but what kind of food is here for us to survive. hunt or fish.
but one of us has to choose one. if we do the same job one of us will have an absolute advantage.
why am i talking to you? i thought you were dead? arent you supposed to be inside the pyramid in Egypt
i dont care!! anyways, i will collect 10 fish an hour if you specialize in collecting berries
well they better be real big fish, not small ones! how are we going to survive.
shut up! you said you were going to pick up berries. so you shouldn´t worry about it
ok i will collect the berries. i will collect around 30 so i will have a comparative advantage.
so my opportunity cost will be not gathering berries and ill be gathering fish
oh i forgot why am i in a tux? you said i was going on a cruise party. instead you got me stuck on a broken wood boat.
yea that is true. you look stupid now? haha
alright i guess, i will gather berries for the both, and that means well be economically interdependent.
