WHO WROTE THE DOCUMENT AND WHEN: The Mayflower compact was written by the colonists and signed by the colonists in 1620. It was a written agreement between colonist.

WHY THEY WROTE IT: The colonists wrote this document because they wanted the colonies to stay in order and with order there is peace.
WHAT IT DID: To ensure there was order among the colonies the colonists created an written agreement know as the Magna Carta.
HOW IT CHANGED: The colonists accomplished getting to make sure all of the colonsits follwed the rules.
The Mayflower Compact was very influential. Many students around the globe learn about it today.
