  • Rising Action
  • The story starts with two people, the old man, and the person who is telling the story. It starts out in a home over a week's times. It takes place in the old man's bedroom, but only when the old man's sleeping.
  • Climax
  • Every night at midnight the man would put his head through the door of the old man's room, he did that for a week. It would take him a whole hour to get his whole head through the door. One night he put his whole body through the door to go inside, he was going to kill the old man that night.
  • Falling Action
  • The old man woke up so he ran to the darkest part of the room and stayed there until the old man went back to sleep, but he didn't. He couldn't wait any longer for the man to fall asleep, so he went over and pulled the old man off the bed, and put the bed on top of him.
  • Resolution
  • He's under the floor
  • The man waited a few minutes until he knew that he was dead. Then he dragged the body to the bathroom and put him in the bathtub because when he cuts up the body there will be no blood anywhere.
  • The man ripped up the floor boards and cut up the old man's body starting with the head, then the arms, and lastly the the legs. He put the man's in the bathtub so there wouldn't be any blood anywhere, at least where people could see.
  • The man heard a sound like a heartbeat, and it kept getting louder and louder. When he couldn't take it anymore he stopped everything that he was doing and showed the cops where he put the old man's body, but he could still hear the sound of a heartbeat.
