I hope you enjoy your time here in the renaissance. The renaissance was a rediscovering time period for Europe that occurred from roughly the fourteenth through seventeenth century.
An important scientist from the Renaissance was Copernicus because he developed the heliocentric theory which states that the sun is the center of the universe.
The printing Press was invented in the early 1450's by Johannes Gutenberg. It made spreading information easier and more efficient instead of hand copying books.
The Reformation went against the teachings of the catholic church and caused people to split up and become the catholics or the protestants.
The Catholics still believed in the church where as the protestants were straying from the churchs teachings.
The Renaissance had a huge impact on our lives today. Without the inventions and the technological advances from the Renaissance there is no telling where we would be today.
