This scene relates to The Ultimate Boon because it is the point in the story in which Beowulf reaches his final accomplishment by defeating the dragon, It is part of the falling action/climax of the story.

This scene represents the Freedom to Live phase in the Hero's Journey because it describes the point in the story where the hero has completed his quest and the Geat people are able to go back to living life freely in their society.
