The war started because Rome feared Carthage. They beat Carthage because they found a boat and added a corvus. After they defeated Carthage, they got Sicily and peace with Carthage.
The war started because Hannibal was angry at Rome so he attacked the Romans. The Romans won because, after 15 years, they attacked Carthage which caused the army to leave. They got all of Carthage's territories and money, gold, iron, lead, and copper.
The war started because Carthage was gaining power again, so Rome attacked them because they feared them. Rome won because they burned down their buildings and destroyed their crops. They got control over the entire Mediterranean sea and got slaves.
