Storyboard Part #2 of To Build a Fire
[Straight Angle] Failure was not an option for this fire. This was his main life source and couldn't afford to die.
[Straight Angle] As the man was building his fire he was freezing. His hands and feet were numb he was so cold. But his persistence is what kept him going.
[Close up] Since his hands were frozen solid he had to hold the match with his teeth and strike the match on his leg. As he tried this numerous times. The smoke from the fire made its way over to him and made him cough which made him drop the match in the snow.
[Close Up] After dropping the match he had to find another means of of keeping warm so he decided walk towards the camp. He came to a realization that he was not going survive this trip and just lied down, and feel into a deep sleep.
