I signed up for the war and now that I have my uniform and gun I am all ready to go fight for my country.
Today we got our tent set up, and I have to share a tent with 3 other people. The worst thing is I don't even get enough space to think and be alone. I guess it's the price you have to pay when you are fighting for your country.
Out here on the battle field is where many soldiers die. They don't die because they have been shot, most the deaths that happened in the war are from deciese because they didn't have t he technology we have today.
The soldiers are giving the uniforms and sometimes they wouldn't even fit the soldiers so they would have to trade with other soldiers until they found a uniform that would fit them.
Soldiers didn't have good living conditions. Most the time they shared a tent and were lucky if they had a place to go to the bathroom. These soldiers have to wake up at the crack of dawn to learn the things that would make the American Army better.
On the battle field there would be a lot of deaths. These deaths could be from a bullet or from sickness. Most field hospitals weren't sanitary and clean so if one person was sick they could easily get someone else sick.
