  • Juliet, take this vial and it will make you look dead, and I will let Romeo know the rest of the plan, too.
  • Yes, sir. I will go into my room alone and drink this on Wednesday.
  • I am ready to marry Paris and you were right. 
  • I am so glad you have finally came to your senses. Lets move the wedding up one more day. 
  • Is this going to work? Is Friar Lawrence trying to poison me and kill me?
  • During this scene, Friar Lawrence is telling Juliet the plan, so she doesn't have to marry Paris and can be with Romeo. The scene shows how Juliet will do anything to be with Romeo and not Paris. 
  • In this scene, Capulet moves the wedding up a day because Juliet acts like she wants to marry Paris. This is fate once again showing Romeo and Juliet that no matter what they do they're not going to end up together.
  • Lady Capulet, come here fast! Juliet is dead!
  • How could someone do this to my dear Juliet? She is the reason I live.
  • Someone needs to tell Paris our wedding is canceled!
  • During this scene, Juliet starts to worry and consider the consequences of her taking the potion and going along with Friar Lawrence's plan. This scene shows Juliet maturing a lot because she is considering everything that could go wrong. 
  •  Stop your crying! Juliet is in a much more peaceful place. 
  • You both were also too concerned about the wedding instead of
  • In this scene, Juliet asks to be alone and thinks of all the consequences, but she ends up drinking the vial from Friar Lawrence. This scene shows that Juliet will do anything for love and to try to prove fate wrong. 
  • During this scene, the nurse and Lord/Lady Capulet find Juliet "dead" in her bed, and they have to tell Paris she is dead. This scene shows Juliet messing up fate's plan to get her and Paris married. 
  • In this scene, Friar Lawrence tells the Capulet's to stop crying because Juliet is in a better place now. Also, how they really didn't care how Juliet was feeling because they were so worried about "their" wedding. This scene is showing the Capulet's that they were only caring for themselves until Juliet was "dead".
