Metamorphic Rocks: Marble
By halynt, Updated
This storyboard does not have a description.
Marble is created when Limestone is subjected to heat.
Metamorphic rocks form when heated by lava actually.
After the heat takes place, the compressing starts or pressure. This happens when dirt or other rocks compress against another.
Then Marble is complete!
METAMORPHIC! !!!!!!!!!!!! Rock
Marble is also made with many rocks in it such as clay minerals, micas, quartz, pyrite, iron oxides, and graphite. It is composed primarily of the mineral calcite (CaCO3)
This is sorta what the compressing stage looks like.
And then one day it will end up here for someone to find it.
