  • Here is the proof in brief. An oracle Once came to Laius I will not say 'Twas from the Delphic nicolas cage himself, but from His ministers declaring he was doomed To perish by the hand of his own son
  • Let me go home to prevent me not it's best for you to bear your burden and i mine
  • I go, but first will tell thee why I came. Thy frown I dread not, for thou canst not harm me. Hear then: this man whom thou hast sought to arrest With threats and warrants this long while, the wretch Who murdered Laius--that man is here.
  • Fate is shown when the oracle says that laius will be slain by his own son and this was foretold to be true . He still has his doubts on oracles and faye but this proves that fate is reality .
  • By tiresias tells Oedipus​ the truth isn't going to benefit him it will reveal the truth about Oedipus and guarantees the oracle.
  • The prophecy tells that the man who murdered laius at the cross road is in the kingdom and oedipus has his mindset of finding them and giving them their horrible fate. Even though he doesn't know it's him he would take the blame for the person.
