Rumpelstilskin By: Paul.O. Zelinsky
Once upon a time in a kingdom long ago lived a poor miller who had a pretty daughter.
The miller wanted to impress the king so the miller told the king his daughter can turn straw into gold.
So the king put the millers daughter work by making her turn straw into gold. If she did that command they would get married and she would live in a nice castle. But the millers daughter didn't know how.
All of a sudden a elf just appeared and helped the millers daughter... but the elf wanted stuff in return. The first thing he wanted was her necklace. Then the next time he wanted her ring. The last room she had to do he wanted her child. He made a deal with her that if she guesses his name she can keep her child. But if she didn't he got her child.
When the king came to check on her he saw that she did it. She spun all the straw into gold. So as he promised they got married. Then a year or so later she had a child. All of a sudden the elf came and said,"Give me what you promised me."
