Storyboard Text

  • RIASEC Storyboard by Hannah Fallaw
  • Dr. John Holland created the RIASEC code because he thought if people were aware of the personality and had a better understanding of what they should career in they would be happy working in their jobs.
  • The RIASEC code is an acronym. It has six different words realistic, investigative, artistic, social, enterprising, and conventional. People with realistic don't like jobs that mainly involve paperwork or working closely with others. People with investigative prefer to do research and figure out problems mentally rather than lead people. People with artistic prefer to work on their one and not have to follow a set of rules. People with social prefer to work with people and like to give guidance and advice. People with enterprising like to be in charge and own their own businesses. People with conventional like to follow rules and guide lines. They tend to like to work in data rooms
  • My RIASEC code is A,I,E. It means that I am more dominant in artistic then all the other personality traits. It also means that I like to work hands on and not follow rules when it comes to work. I like to do stuff my way and the way I want it.
  • My two recessive traits are investigative and enterprising. I like to do research and study interesting things. I am also enterprising, which means I like to also persude people and lead.
  • After taking this survey, I chose to be an Anthropologist has my career. To get a job in this filed I would have to have five years of college, which is also known has a masters degree.
  • In this career I will have a salary of $84,900. It is a good career because in the next ten years the job prospect will be higher giving more job openings. Here comes my mom I can't wait to tell her about my career.
