Storyboard Text

  • The sun light's energy gets captured the the grasses chlorophyll to make food, the process is called photosynthesis. Photosynthesis's main product is food and it's reactants are carbon dioxide and water. The grass uses energy from the sun to convert to carbon dioxide from the air and water from the soil into a sugar called glucose. Then the glucose and oxygen react produce carbon dioxide, water and energy or ATP.
  • After the grass releases oxygen as a by-product. Then animals like this cow named Cecilia breath in oxygen using respiration, and they also eat the grass for protein and energy. Respiration's main product is ATP or energy and the waste products are water and carbon dioxide Using the sun's light energy to make food is important because food makes energy for our bodies and without it we wouldn't be able to do anything.
  • While photosynthesisis performed by most plants who can prepare they're own food, most animals get they're energy through other organisms such as other plants and animals. There is a huge importance between the photosynthesis and respiration processes because they are two main processes performed by most living organisms to obtain usable energy from nature.
  • Photosynthesis takes place in the small plant cells called chloroplasts, they contain a green substance called chlorophyll.Respiration primarily takes place in the mitochondria, it harvests energy stored in organic molecules.
  • Then the cow gets milked and gets checked to make sure it is safe for people to drink.Once they know it is safe they give it to the grocery store to make money and get it sold.
  • Because animals don't use photosynthesis they get they're food from other organisms such as other plants and animals. After all the hard work people can buy cow's milk by going to they're local grocery store.
