  • In an attempt to ruin this meeting, King Louis XVI closed the *blank* in which case the Third Estate moved the meeting to a nearby tennis court. the other estates were not excited about this but showed up to help make a decision on the taxes.
  • Tennis Court Oath
  • The citizens were very upset with the King because he continued to treat them unfairly therefore storming the Bastille to get the gunpowder contained inside.
  • Storming of the Bastille
  • Abolishing the Feudal System
  • The national Assembly decides to abolish the feudal system so that people can work their ways to other estates and not be stuck in the same one forever.

  • Rights of Man
  • The estates signed The Declaration of the Rights of Man and Citezens so that all men were treated equally.
  • Equal rights for men!
  • The women were upset that they didn't have rights so they attacked Versailles and began to destroy the castle bit by bit thus causing the King and Queen to flee to paris.
  • Women's March on Versailles
  • After the Attack of Versailles, the national Assembly decided to give both men and women rights.

  • Citizens and Citizeness have rights!
