  • Scene 1 00:02 sec
  • Scene 2 02:04 sec
  • Scene 3 04:05 sec
  • S T U D I O S
  • For this part I would use drums and bass as they are majestic and the door opening is slow and quite majestic. The tempo would be quite slow to make it grand. The dynamics would be quite quiet and would have a crescendo to make it grand. The pitch would low because it is grand and majestic
  • Scene 4 05:06 sec
  • For this part, the drums would still be in the background resembling the mysterious and grand feeling when you see captain America however voilins would be introduced to show that a hero has arrived. The dynamics would still be forte and the tempo would speed up slightly. The pitch would be still quite low because it means it is building up the tension and a hero has arrived.
  • Scene 5 08:10 sec
  • This part is quite short so there wouldn't be much change. The drums would still be there along with the bass and violin. The tempo would still be fast and the dynamics would be fortissimo now as it is the title screen of the company that created the film, MARVEL. The pitch would be still low as, again building tension.
  • Scene 6 11:13 sec
  • In this section of the trailer, the music would still have the bass, drums and violins in the background although the instruments will be quieter as a a cello will be introduced, creating tension. As nothing huge has happened in the trailer yet, all the instruments are building up tension to a bigger bit of the trailer coming up. The dynamics will have dropped in volume, now mezzo forte, the pitch low and the tempo slow.
  • Now this part of the trailer is when all the sound effects come in. A huge explosion sound would be introduced when the explosion happens with the drums constantly beating, louder than the bass, cello and violin. All the other instruments would be playing in time with the drums. The pitch would get higher- violins would create this- to show that we are at the top of all the tension, on the top of the build up and the tempo would speed up slightly. The dynamics would now be forte or fortissimo because we have finally reached the tension we have been building up to.
  • This is the final scene in the trailer and it has a huge tension build in it. There would be a huge boom when the bullet is shot and all the music would suddenly stop. There would be a big crescendo as the gun is lifted, then a slight diminuendo -so you can hear the boom- with the boom as a sign for the music to stop. The pitch would be in the middle and the tempo quite fast, building up the tension, until everything stops.
