  • Go away!
  • Hello Zeus!
  • Next, came along the river-god Asopus. She asked him if he knew where her daughter was and the king would only answer if he was given a water for his kingdom. She agreed and King Sisyphus told her where Zeus went with her daughter.
  • Do you know where my daughter is?
  • Ok!
  • Only if you give me water for my kingdom
  • The king new Zeus would be mad with him but, the king did not care. But, Zeus found out and ordered his brother Hades to take the king to the underworld immediately.
  • That selfish king!
  • I will take that selfish king to the underworld immediately!
  • But, before he left, he talked his wife out of putting a gold coin under his tongue so he could come back to Earth. She said yes and King Sisyphus went tho the underworld with Hades.
  • I promise that I'll not put a gold coin under your tongue.
  • Thank You!
  • Once King Sisyphus was at the entrance to the underworld, Hades was mad with the king's wife's foolishness. He ordered the king to go make his wife get a gold coin.
  • Ok!
  • You must go back to your castle to get a gold coin and once you do, you must come straight back here.
  • So, once King Sisyphus got back to Earth, he pretended like it took him a lifetime to talk his wife into putting a gold coin under his tongue. The king lied and spent the rest of his life on Earth.
