Edward and his family are out enjoying their night when Edward's father trips over a stick and falls into the fire and burns his hand. Edward decides to take his father spot in his work and become a voyager.
Edward is on the first day of his journey and came across the marking spot , the start of the journey, St.Anne's. He is already tired, sore and has blisters all over.
Edwards fellow canoe mates decide to stay on their canoe and ride on the rapids! Edward is feeling very nervous about his first rapids as a canoe men. Edward and his crew will have to hold on and ride the rapids!

Edward and his crew are going to play it safe and stay by the shore. Edward is very nervous about the big water and hopes to make it through.
Edward and his crew mates stop at Grand Portage for their rendezvous. They are unloading their packs and setting up camp. Edward is looking forward to spend the next week here in Grand Portage.

Edward decides to head back home to Lachine to enjoy the rest of his time before he heads back out and journey's through the great lakes and back to Grand Portage. Edward had a rough start on his jou rney, but battled it out, and by the end, paddling came easy to him. Edward is looking forward to his next journey but for now, he will enjoy time off and with his family.
