Let's be friends!
Soon after the agreement, the eagle made her nest in the trees, while the fox went and layed her young.
The eagle was desperate for for food and snatched one of the fox's babies to eat, while the fox was out.
What did you do?
When the fox returned, she found out had happened. She was less grieved for the death of her young, but her inability to avenge them.
The eagle came upon villagers sacrificing a sheep and stole a piece of the meat. The eagle carried the piece of meat back to her nest, with a cinder, to her nest.
A strong breeze fanned the spark into a flame. The eaglets, unable to fly were burnt. There, in sight of the eagle, the fox ate the eaglets.
The moral of the story is to, do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
