  • The narrator arrived to Roderick house. He received a letter from Roderick, because his best friend feels worse. The setting is dark, gloomy, and scary.
  • CLIMAX
  • Roderick is sick, because his sister Madeline is going to died. The narrator is trying to cheer him up to make Roderick feels comfortable. Roderick thinks the house is alive.
  • FALLING ACTION
  • Madeline is died. The narrator and Roderick both bury her body in the dark creepy vault. The weird storm outside the house after Madeline was died.
  • RESOLUTION
  • Roderick was afraid of alive Madeline, which means that her sister was standing outside the door. When the door was open Madeline fails on Roderick, and Roderick died because of fear.
  • Narrator was afraid and ran away from the Usher house.
  • When the narrator runs away, the house crack openly and it collapse into the tarn.
