Storyboard Text

  • Oh why not? I believe they are worthy and kind enough.
  • No God or Goddess shall give Man fire! They are unworthy.
  • Now, how sha'll I punish those foolish humans?
  • YOU DARE DISOBEY ME AND GIVE THE HUMANS FIRE!?
  • May I present to you, the wonderful, Pandora!
  • Zeus, the God of all gods, declared once and for all that man did not deserve fire. He had told all the gods and goddesses not to provide them with fire. Prometheus, being the kind-hearted god he was, decided to give the humans fire anyways.
  • I sha'll keep the dreaded box in here, where I don't have to see it.
  • When Zeus heard that Prometheus had disobeyed his orders. he sentenced him to be chained for many years to a mountain. Meanwhile, he was thinking of a punishment for man for accepting his offer. He had come up with a plan.
  • Zeus decided to create a charming woman named Pandora. She is to marry Epimetheus. He told the Gods each to grant her a gift. The most important two; Hermes gave her a golden box and told her never to open it. Hera gave her the gift of curiosity. This was Zeus's ultimate test, will she open the box?
  • The curiosity was getting to Pandora. She knew she should not open the box, but she couldn't help but wonder what could possibly be in there. So, she decided to put it in a dusty, old room where she wouldn't have to see it.
  • Sadly, it was no use. Pandora was still tempted to open the box. She was forced to bury itoutide in the dirt. She thought this would FORCE her to forget about the box and her temptation to open it.
  • Boy, was she wrong. Pandora could not take it any longer. She dug up the box and opened the chest. Out came all the evil spirits of the world; Jealousy, hate, deceit, war, despair, and much more. The one monster she managed to not let escape was the worst of them all, Foreboding. It would have told everyone in the world the misfortune that would befall them everyday, man could not live without hope. Moral of the story: Do Not Let Your Curiosisty Get The Best Of You.
