Storyboard Text

  • Did u know your Cellular Respiratory system produces energy for you.
  • Im so tired.
  • First Glycolysis begins and glucose which is oxygen and hydrogen breaks down into carbon dioxide and water with the help of Phosphate and ADP. And makes ATP or Energy.
  • How?
  • The Oxidative Phosphorylation powered by electrons though the electron transport chain and a series of proteins.
  • Whats next?
  • Were did the Electrons come from?
  • The came from glucose and went through the electron transport chain and carried NAD+ and Fad and then became NADH and FADH2
  • Where does this all take place, the Cytoplasm?
  • No it takes pace in your Mitochondria, Also in the mitochondrial matrix the Krebs Cycle cycle occurs which make chemical energy from the pyruvate.
  • By a process called ATP Synthase, it stores all the excess energy and also can produce an acid called Pyruvate Acid.
  • Where is the energy stored?
  • Thanks for telling me how energy works.
  • Your welcome any time.
