Storyboard Text

  • Exposition
  • Conflict
  • I'm leaving the pack!
  • Rising Action
  • I'm not your puppet Wren! I'm my own dog!
  • You can't leave!
  • Wren pawed happily at the playful pups. She looks up at the darkening sky as a raindrop fell atop her muzzle. She nosed the two moon (2 month) old pups into their den. Beta recruited her and her sister to patrol as the aquatic drops fell from the sky.
  • Climax
  • How about this, you leave, but come back every moon or so.
  • Deep in the forest, the pair padded through the thicket. They searched the horizon for danger, paws sinking into the muddy ground. Leaf sat, halting suddenly, turning to Wren.
  • Falling Action
  • I'm sorry Leaf. I had just lost you for so long, I didn't want lose you again.
  • Wren shrunk into the muddy ground, awestruck and heartbroken. Leaf held her head high confidently. They fell silent, the only sound heard was the rustling leaves and the crack of thunder in the distance.
  • Resolution
  • See you soon!
  • The great figure of Alpha stepped out of the thicket. His calm eyes met Leaf's as if to ask, what seems to be the problem. Leaf explained everything as Wren sat down.
  • Alright.
  • Wren met her sister's golden brown eyes. The two hung their heads, saying their sorrys. Alpha smiled at the sisters as they finally tied loose ends. The rain slowed to a calm drizzle.
  • I've never realized how much you cared, I'm sorry about snapping out at you.
  • Wren and Leaf nuzzled each other as they said their good byes. The sun poked out as their fur bristled. Leaf turned to leave as Alpha and Wren stood. They went their opposite ways, leading to new adventure. Even if it's not obvious, there is love in everyone, or should I say everydog.
