Hi! I'm a random dog and i'm here to tell you all about a story called Uncle Tom's Cabin and how it helped start the civil war!!
In 1852, Harriet Beecher Stowe wrote Uncle Tom's Cabin. She wrote the book about Tom and how he and his family when though slavery.
She wrote this book because she wanted people to know how evil and inhumanity slavery was!
The north's face when they read the book
The north was not happy about the book because it talks about how they are more guilty than the south because they just sat back and let slavery happen.
When the South read the book they were mad as well! They were mad because the book was making the north want slavery gone even more and the south didn't know what to do without slaves.
The south's face when they read the book
The book made the north and south hate each other even more.
Even Lincoln called her....
