Oh hello, there my name is Susan Elizabeth Blow and I am in Germany studying kindergarten classes created by Fredrich Froebel.
The first Kindergarten was started by Fredrich Froebel in Europe
Oh hello there, my name is Susan Blow and I am studying a new phenomenon known as Kindergarten in Germany.
She was the inspiration for Kindergarten today
Poor families could only afford to send their children to school for three years so Susan decided to use Kindergarten as a way for children to attend school longer and she accepted no form of payment
After studying in Germany, I decided the United States needed to adopt the Kindergarten program.
Only six years later, there were fifty three Kindergarten classrooms in Missouri and neighboring states
I opened my first classroom in St.Louis,Missouri in 1873
She taught the children about many things such as math, colors, shapes, and living a healthy life!
Welcome to Kindergarten!
