Storyboard Text

  • And so, Ankahz did just what the chief said. He found a cave in the woods to sleep in. It was hard to watch food go by, like deer and rabbits, and the young native grew skinny and frail, but he kept his word to finish his great journey.
  • It took Ankahz a long time to start having visions, but one day a ghost-like figure came into his dreams.
  • Who are you?
  • Hello, Ankahz.
  • I am the Great Spirit. I will teach you how to be a hero of the tribe.
  • For the next 3 nights, Ankahz learned how to make different animal skins into what is called "clothing". He then took some of it home to give to other people.
  • The young native was also asked to teach some fellow tribe members how to make the special coverings, and so he did.
  • Ankahz, you're the one that made this happen! You MUST have clothes!
  • Once everyone tried on their clothes, things were pretty bright. But, there was only enough fabric that one person wouldn't have anything for protection...
  • Rehzpae, for the last time, don't want someone else to go without! I'll be fine.
  • He wasn't fine, but it was the biggest sacrifice that the tribe had ever encountered. The native had froze to death for his people.
  • He was the best brother a girl could have....
  • R.I.P. Ankahz G.
  • And from then on, not only did humans have clothes, but the great Ankahz was always acknowledged. Whether it was praying, or activities and dances, the native has been always honored since.
