  • Wow! I'm so excited to be taking a trip to the Egyptian Pyramids of Giza!
  • "Always remember. y=mx+b! m is rise/run b is y-intercept!"
  • I can't believe this is real! I've always wanted to see one up close! I want to know everything about them!
  • So, to find the m, I need to find the rise/run in the graph. That would be Rise: -1 Run: 2 That means m is equal to -1/2.
  • First of all I might start with the slope, after all we've been learning about it in math! First I have to get my measurments.
  • Now I need to find the b of the graph. That would be 1 1/2.  b=1 1/2 Slope ----------------------------- y=-1/2x+1 1/2
  • Got them! Now what was it that my teacher told me the formula was again?
  • All right. So, now I'll use my measurements to find m. The rise is -1 and the run is 2 so m is -1/2.
  • So, to find the b, or the y-intercept, I have to find where the line crosses the y-axis. Then to find the slope, just plug in the variables.
