After Mrs Shears finds Christopher laying with her dog that has been impaled by a garden fork. She's assumes he has murdered him so she calls the police. After Christopher has to deals with some difficult questions he becomes angered and hits the policemen.
'The dog is dead"
"would you like to tell me what's going on here, young man?"
"I strongly advise you behave yourself because if you try any of that monkey business again, you little s**t, I will seriously loose my rag."
'This made me feel a lot calmer because it is what policeman say on television and films."
They wanted me to take off my watch but I needed it to know exactly what the time was. And when they tried to take it off me I screamed
"Please take out the laces from your shoes, empty your pockets. We don't want you escaping or attempting suicide."
I wondered whether Mrs Shears had told the police that I had killed the dog and whether, when the police found out that she had lied, she would go to prison. Because telling lies about people is called slander
"It was nice in the police cell. It was almost a perfect cube. 2 metres long by 2 metres wide by 2 metres high."
At 1:28am I was released and I met father in the corridor. He held up his right hand and spread his fingers out in a fan. We do this because sometimes my father wants to give me a hug, but i don't like hugging so we do this instead. It means that he loves me.
The policeman said I could go with a caution so I picked up my Swiss army knife and all my stuff. We went out to father's car which was parked outside and we drove home
