  • I hope we Cherokee Indian's can avoid conflicts with the white people by adopting the contemporary culture of white people.
  • I'm glad the we didn't have any conflicts with the English people yet
  • Yeah, I wonder how the news papers are doing. I'm glad we have treaty rights
  • No, I didn't. Anyway we cannot dig for the gold because they have treaty rights.
  • Did you here that there was gold on the land that the Cherokee Indian's live on?
  • I don't care about there treaty rights! I want gold!
  • the Cherokee avoid being removal from there land by adopting the contemporary culture of white people.
  • Attack!
  • The Cherokee indians are happy that they don't have conflicts with the English and that they have treaty rights.
  • The Cherokee nation is a distinct community in which the laws of Georgia had no force over.
  • Mean while in Georgia people discovered gold on the land that the Cherokee Indians lived.
  • Keep walking!!!
  • Georgia leaders began to remove the Cherokee Indians, but they refused to move. so they attacked the Cherokee.
  • The Indians sued Georgia and the court said that Georgia had no power to attack the Indians.
  • Georgia ignored the Court's ruling and Jackson did nothing to stop Georgia. Jackson disregarded his presidential oath to uphold the laws of the land. And the Indians were removed, they then walked the 800-miles forsed march called the Triel of Tears.
