Storyboard Text

  • Do you ever think about what happens to us after we die?
  • I just wish I knew what really happens. Do we go to heaven? Does anything happen at all? It bothers me not having answers.
  • That is why I am a transcendentalist.
  • Sometimes.
  • But don't you wish you could understand everything you want to?
  • It is okay to not know everything. The world works in mysterious ways. There are some things we will never understand and that is normal.
  • Yes. Sometimes it can be frustrating when I want answers that I will never have.
  • I believe in God so it is reassuring thinking I have something to look forward to after I die. I am just concerned that maybe heaven isn't real after all.
  • Being a transcendentalist, I do not believe in God. However, when I hear the way people talk about Him, I sometimes wish I did believe so I could go to heaven.
  • I don't necessarily let nature guide my life because I believe God is my guide.
  • Death is a natural thing that happens to everyone. We cannot live if we do not die.
  • What I do believe in, though, is nature.
  • I put my life in the hands of nature. Sometimes I would rather feel in complete control of my own life, but that is not how my philosophy of life works.
  • Overall, I am glad I am a transcendentalist. I know the best choices for my life will come to me naturally, and some day society may become less materialistic and more spiritual like I am.
