Storyboard Text

  • BOTH CHARACTERS- Use dark foundations to re-shape the face of the characters by highlighting, shading and contouring their features to create more similarities between the two.
  • LUCY'S DAD- Un-shaven, with un-styled hair. In moments when Lucy’s dad is ‘angry’ and 'reddened’, I would spray glycerin and water on forehead and neck area, to look like sweat. Red shades of supra colour would be used to show he is flushed.
  • LUCY- main wounds would be hidden for now but slight bruising around the eye would be applied to show that she has possibly been abused. The bruising would be fresh so shades of purples, reds and blues would be used. I would apply a lot of mascara as she would have been crying so this will allow the mascara to run down her face and show she is extremely upset.
  • OLD LADY- Little/no make up, just hair clipped back and hairy spray used so it s easy for audence to see her shocked reaction
  • LUCY- As Alex reveals her back wounds they are severe. She would have a couple of old wounds which would be created with the yellow and green shades of the bruise wheel. The fresher wounds and bruises I would use blue, purple and reds, along with fresh fake blood stippled on.
  • ALEX- There is 'clear purpose' in Alex steps, so I would contour his face slightly more than usual to give a masculine/grown up effect. His cheeks would be slightly flushed and no powder or anti shine would be used to create a natural shine to help portray his anger
  • LUCY'S DAD- Alex is very angry and beats Lucy's Dad up. He punched him and knocks him to the floor, therefore his wounds would be fresh. Red, fake blood would be applied to his nostrils and leaking out. To create a bust lip fake blood would also be used, along with red supra colour.
