  • RUSSIA IN WWI
  • HERE, IT'S YOUR TURN.
  • FEBRUARY REVOLUTION, 1917
  • FINALLY... WE CAN RULE RUSSIA AGAIN!
  • BOLSHEVIK/ OCTOBER REVOLUTION, 1917
  • WE LOVE YOU, LENIN!
  • Russia was not prepared for war. They were not focused on militarism and had the weakest military at this point. Sometimes, their supply was so low that they had to alternate every day who got to use the gun.
  • RUSSIAN CIVIL WAR, 1918-1919
  • Czar Nicholas gave up the throne by his own will, and the Duma step in his place again. However, they are merely a figurehead and do not have real power. They are not able to control Russia.
  • INDUSTRIAL & AGRICULTURAL REFORMS OF STALIN, 1928
  • FINALLY... I CAN SEIZE POWER!
  • Lenin leads the Bolsheviks into political power with communist ideas. They quickly accomplish two things- 1) eliminate any ownership of private property and 2) make amends and peace with Germany.
  • STALIN'S PURGES, 1934
  • NOBODY CAN TAKE AWAY MY POWER.
  • The war turned into 'Reds' vs 'Whites'. The Reds were Bolsheviks, still lead by Lenin. The Whites were followers of the Czar. The Bolsheviks ended up killing Czar Nicholas and defeating the entire White army with him.
  • WE HAVE KILLED YOUR CZAR... AND WE WILL KILL YOU TOO!
  • Lenin dies and Joseph Stalin kills his competitor, Trotsky in order to seize rule over Russia. He incorporates high and unrealistic demands in industrialization. He doesn't allow privately owned farms and replaces them with state owned ones.
  • RIP LENIN
  • Anybody or any party who was of threat to Stalin's power was killed. Stalin was extremely paranoid of his power and had anyone who was even only a small threat killed.
