• WALKING HOME FROM SCHOOL
• OMG!!! I HATE MATH CLASS SO MUCH, I HATE THAT STUPID TOPIC "QUADRATIC FORMULA" IT IS SO DIFFICULT
• GETS STOPPED BY HIS NEIGHBOR
• I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO ANYMORE! THIS TOPIC CALLED QUADRATIC FORMULAS HAS BEEN STRESSING ME OUT SO MUCH!
• HEY THERE NEIGHBOR! WHATS THE MATTER WITH YOU.
• NEIGHBOR AGREES TO HELP
• ITS OKAY COME INSIDE OF MY GARAGE AND I WILL HELP YOU! I USE TO BE A MATH TEACHER YOU KNOW!
• THIS YOUNG MAN IS VERY FUSTRATED WITH SCHOOL AND HAS HAD ENOUGH. IF ONLY SOMEONE WAS HERE TO HELP HIM
• Neighbor shows student basic equation.
• ax^2+bx+c=0 After you find your A,B,C you then plug it into the quadratic formula.
• NEIGHBOR FEELS WORRIED AND ASK WHATS WRONG WITH THE POOR STUDENT
• Neighbor gives student practice problem
• Solve: X^2-8x+14=0
• THE NEIGHBOR AND THE STUDENT MAKE THEIR WAY INTO THE GARAGE
• Steps for the problem
•  Step 1: Identify a, b, and c and plug them into the quadratic formula. In this case a = 1, b = –8, and c = 14. Step 2: Use the order of operations to simplify the quadratic formula. Step 3: Simplify the radical, if you can. In this case you can simply the radical into: Step 4: Reduce the problem, if you can. In this case you can reduce the entire problem by 2.
• Neighbor shows the student the basic qudratic formula. (WAS NOT ABLE TO WRITE THE SECOND PART OF THE EQUATION.
• OKAY BOSS!!! I'M READY TO LEARN.
• OKAY THEN. THIS RIGHT HERE IS THE QUADRATIC FORMULA.
• Neighbor show student a problem and gives him the steps to solve it.
• Now I will give you an example and its steps.
• Steps to solve the problem so the student can follow along
