  • EXPOSITION
  • "Do the scientists really know? Will it happen today, will it ?"
  • It's been raining for 7 years, and i'm tired of it. When will the sun show me its warmth again?
  • "Look, look; see for yourself !"
  • CONFLICT
  • "It’s like a fire, in the stove."
  • "You’re lying, you don’t remember !"
  • "No it’s not!"
  • RISING ACTION
  • "William!"
  • "I think the sun is a flower,That blooms for just one hour."
  • "Aw, you didn't write that!"
  • Other students think differently of Margot because she only came from Earth four years ago. She is a very quiet and frail girl unlike the others who was seen as lively. She is very upset by her move to Venus because of the continuous rain and misses the sun.
  • CLIMAX
  • "No!"
  • "Nothing, nothing !"
  • The conflict revolves between the other students and Margot. She had experienced the sweet warmth and beauty of the sun and she talks mostly about it. However, because of this, everyone teases and bullies her and believes that she is lying.
  • FALLING ACTION
  • "Oh, it’s better than the sun lamps, isn’t it ?"
  • Throughout the whole day, they read about the sun and made short essays or poems regarding the sun. Margot shares her poem, however, William was against the poem and claimed that she didn't wrote it. As a result, this initiated the rivalry between the two characters.
  • RESOLUTION
  • "She’s still in the closet where we locked her."
  • The children have been waiting for the rain to subside, however, the rain just pours down for eternity. Margot kept convincing them it will stop but the others didn't believe in her words. William then decided to shut her inside a room. As a result, she missed the feeling of warmth portrayed by the Sun.
  • "Hey, everyone, let’s put her in a closet before the teacher comes !"
  • "Nothing’s happening today. Is it ?"
  • All the children were surprised and enjoyed their time bathing from the Sun's light and heat. However, as they forgot about Margot, she cried for help, hoping someone will let her out before she misses the Sun that reigns the sky every seven years. As time sprints, A hint of water droplets fell from the sky and duplicates each time.
  • "Now, don’t go too far"
  • "Much, much better !"
  • As they went back inside to take cover from the ominous rain, one of the students remembers Margot.they all felt the guilt of not believing Margot's words. They slowly opened the door and let the devastated and colorless Margot out of the room.
  • "Go on"
  • "Margot."
