This story board briefly shows how the Romans lived 2,00 years ago. It describes how they survived, how they lived, and how great their power was amongst other empires.
Over 2,000 years ago, Rome was the most powerful empire. They were so powerful that they had control over more than own empire other than their own; It includes Europe, Asia, and a part of Africa.
There was an abundance of wealth amongst some of the romans, the wealthiest being the Roman Emporor. This meant that they had servants an peasants working in their homes. With their main focus on successful trade, Roman farmers planted an excessive amount of food which meant their people rarely starved (economy was great).
Yes, I shall fetch one, sir.
Peasant, go fetch a glass of wine for me.
Even though the Roman Empire fell and was brought to an end, the state of the Empire still has it's effects on our societies today. We took influence from ancient romans and applied it to our architecture, economy, resourcefulness, and as inspiration to be as successful as Roman Emporors who led their people to great wealth and prosperity up until the very end.
