Loss of habitat through pollution
Jeremy the lizard doesn't feel so good. He decides to seek help from a wise friend.
Wise Waldo, what's wrong with me? I feel sick.
Oh Jeremy, it isn't just you. Let me explain.
When plastic trash is littered and left in wildlife habitats, it breaks up into very small pieces and turns the water into a plastic soup.
Cycles of Matter (Water Cycle) here
This polluted water gets filtered through the water cycle, killing off the food source and habitats for animals like you and me.
When pollution kills a habitat, the surviving animals are forced out of their homes to places that sometimes aren't ready to have them there.
Thanks Wise Waldo! Now I understand what's happening with our ecosystem! I think it's time to make a change.
...And with that, Jeremy the lizard went on to tell the whole neighborhood about what is happening in [scale??????].
