  • Wow! did you know Mount Everest is Earth's highest mountain above sea level? Well now you do.  Its' elevation reaches 29,035  feet or 8,850 meters. The Himalayas started to rise about 23 to 30 million years ago. This mountain is made up of rocks and granites. This mountain can be seen directly from the northeast side. It is known to be shaped like a 3 sided pyramid. In July the warmest daytime temperature is about -2 degrees  Fahrenheit   (and - 19 degrees Celsius. ) Do you think that is cold wow in January the coldest temperature is -76 degrees Fahrenheit ( -60 degrees Celsius.) On Mt. Everest the temperatures are very hostile which means unbelievably cold.

  • If you litter you must pay a fine of $4000 because in 2011 a spring cleanup found over 8 tons of trash that was littered.  Yes Mt. Everest is very tall but it is not the tallest mountain in the world  but  yes it is the tallest mountain over sea level. There are so many types of animals which include a crow- like bird , watch out the do follow mountain climbers, there are bar headed geese and jumping spiders that jump up to about 22,000 feet in the air. They live for quit a while and eat bugs blown by the wind.
  • Mt. Everest is very tall so in the 19th century this mountain became known as the roof over the world. I do not want to litter or I  will have to pay a heavy fine. So yes if you cone here and litter be prepared to pay.

  • They are are located in Nepal. The population in 45,000 people. The languages are Sherpali and Nepali. They even have their own religions which include Nyingmapa and Buddhism. Many people died while climbing this mountain so please be careful! 
  • At last here we are a little town around Mount Everest.  Here the people who live in the valleys are called Sherpas.
  • Yes here we have one of the stores in Nepal. Here they sell everything like the robe Shepa's wear called Bakhu. Or the wooden boots they sell.
  • This is a picture of a famous person she was the first woman  to climb M.T Everest we remember her very much here. Her name was Junko Tabei. She died in 1975 at the age of 77.  She made it up over 150 mountains.
  • Over the years the materials used to climb MT Everest changed very much like now there is harses, axes, and even cameras
