I WANT GOLD!
King Midas was a very wealthy but greedy king. Once, Dionysus promised King Midas that he can get anything he ever wanted for free. King Midas wished for a golden touch. Dionysus wasn't sure that was a good idea, but he did it any way. He was so happy.
Are you sure you want to have the golden touch? You are already pretty rich.
King Midas had fun with his golden touch. He touched everything he could find. He did not care about what he touched. Then it was dinner time. Whenever he touch his food, it will turn into gold. He was very hungry. He did not want the golden touch anymore. He screamed for Dionysus.
My onion rings! They are now gold! I don't want the golden touch anymore! DIONYSUS!!!!!
Dionysus came. Midas cried for Dionysus to take out the golden touch. Dionysus called him foolish but forgave him and took out the golden touch.
Thank you! I promise I will never do such a foolish thing.
You were very foolish to think such a thing, yet, I forgave you.
