  • At the beginning of Chapter 5, Jem and Dill started to exclude Scout out of activities, so that made Scout spend more time with Miss Maudie, a neighbor who grew up with Atticus.
  • Because he doesn't want to Scout.
  • Scout asked Miss Maudie why Boo never comes out of the house, she said that he doesn't want to, and that he was always a polite boy.
  • How come Boo never comes out of the house?
  • The next day Jem and Dill get Scout to help them try to slip a note through the window of the Radley house, But Atticus catches them and tells them to stop bothering Mr. Radley.
  • Stop bothering Mr. Radley!
