Growing up as a kid, Abraham was always working on the farm or for the neighbors. With only a handful of kids, he was able to teach himself how to read and write, which was very rare in their youth.

The world is different today because, without Abraham Lincoln, we would most likely be divided as the United States and slavery would be legal still.
